As a kid, I drew the same picture again and again: a house, a sun, and me inside it. Each time, something changed. The sunrays got more varied, a new window added depth, the flowers matched whatever species I'd just learned about, and my clothes matched my mood. The essence stayed the same, but everything around it kept growing.
I still work that way. I grew up in Mexico, moved to Los Angeles in 2015, and graduated from CSUSB in 2024 with a BA in Studio Design. Today I make character-driven animation and brand motion, like my short film Maple's Journey, a story about grief, love, and memory.
By day, I lead teams in operations at Amazon, which taught me to deliver on deadlines and work with all kinds of people.
